MNP Oper GW Product Suite
MNP Operator Gateway for Mobile Network Operators MNP (Mobile Number Portabiity) functionality enables mobile subscribers to switch their operators without changing their mobile numbers in accordance with the rules set by the Regulatory Body. Handling and managing MNP operations (port-in, port-out, msisdn-return, cancel operations plus others regulatory needs) on Operator side can be either complicated or less secure in case it is done without any prior control, filter, verification and validation. . Adenon MNP Operator Gateway modules simplify the MNP implementation on Operator side by simplifying the process and managing the necessary checks and controls. Adenon MNP Operator Gateway Product Suite is comprimised of following modules which complements an E2E solution on Operator side:
MNP_OPER_GW : The gateway functionality at Operator side which handles all MNP operations coming from and send to Central MNP Module (MNP-GW) at Regulatory Body. The main purpose fo this module is to regulate, validate and filter the “Web Service” traffic between MNP-GW and Operator side. It uses a state machine, which validates and allows only permited actions in every stage of the MNP scenario. In addition to these, it triggers the scheduled MNP actions, performs the retries and creates alarms when things go wrong in the scenario.
MNP_LOOKUP : This module is used to query the actual/most up to date operator information of subscribers via REST API by internal Operator applications including but not limited to biling/mediation and service platforms.
MNP_MON : It is a web application that monitors the software modules & system traffic and displays the statistics and history of MNP operations, alarms and events. It also provides the overall MNP results and ongoing operations.
